Goal 2 - Zero Hunger
End hunger, achieve food security and improved nutrition and promote sustainable agriculture

The Goal 2 and the associated 8 targets focus on ending all forms of hunger and malnutrition by 2030, and making sure that all people particularly children, women, older persons and those from vulnerable communities have sufficient and nutritious food throughout the year. The targets inter alia address promotion of sustainable agriculture, and support to small-scale farmers and other producers by way of access to economic assets, technology, and markets. Also in focus is development cooperation for improving investment in relevant infrastructure and support system at all levels.
